Service tech didn't return multiple requests for information

onI brought my older BMW to BMW of Mountain View for recall service, which they did complete promptly and free of charge. My issue lies in that I asked a couple times in the preceding few days if I'd be getting a loaner car, so I can plan my day around it, since I am leaving in the middle of the workday to get the service done. I don't mind not getting a loaner car, it is a free service after all, I just needed to know to plan around it. I called three times to get a response and was told every time that my tech was busy and would call me back. He never called me back. I found it unprofessional.
