Dealership Service Review
I made an appointment to have the driver's side seat belt tensioner replaced on my 2016 Ford Taurus. At 9am the service adviser told me that the repair costs would be covered under AutoNation's warranty or under Ford's warranty and he was checking to find out. I asked if that info could be provided for me with a telephone call. He agreed, took all my information, and then called me at 5pm to mistakenly and incorrectly inform me that the repair was covered under Ford's warranty and that I would have to come get my car and take it to a Ford Dealer. This is false and incorrect. The repair is out of Ford's warranty and needs to be repaired under my extended service contract plan I purchased with AutoNation.
