I negotiated a price and purchased a Toyota 4-door pickup over the telephone from the stock at Camelback Toyota, authorized an earnest-money deposit on a credit card, and mailed a check. In three days, before I could travel to the dealership to pick up the vehicle, the salesman telephoned and informed me that he had sold my pickup to another buyer. He offered me another unit, not similarly equipped, for a much higher price.
