Camelback Toyota

After initially committing in writing to price and agreeing to sell me a 2007 Avalon for export to Canada, Camelback reneged under pressure from Toyota and refused to honour their earlier undertaking. Upon checking with other local dealers, I found that Toyota had forced general adherence to their prohibition of sale for export. Toyota headquarters denied several times having such a prohibition but, eventually, I received telephone confirmation from the president's office that the restriction does exist. My contact there checked wit 'legal' and reported that the subject policy was an 'internal document' and not available outside the corporation.
