Camelback Toyota
Dealership Sales Review
Review of Camelback Toyota: Dishonest Practices and Broken Promises. YOUR FAMILY DESERVES BETTER. As a mom of three kids, I need a reliable car—especially in the summer when the Arizona heat can be brutal. With our current vehicle reaching the end of its life, we contacted Camelback Toyota. They have a "no-deposit" policy, so you have to stay in touch to be "first in line" for a car. We were in contact with our dealer for two months, and she kept reassuring us that we'd get notified as soon as the car we wanted arrived. Well, it turns out that the friendly salespeople aren't the ones calling the shots. It's the managers, and they don't seem to care about keeping promises or being fair. Here's what happened to us: After two months of waiting and negotiating, we thought we had everything sorted out. But then, out of nowhere, I found out that a car intended for another family was sold without contacting them. To fix their problem, the manager gave them our car—the one we had been waiting for and thought was ours. And they did it without even checking with our dealer first. I was so upset. Summer's coming, and we needed that car. Now we're back to square one, scrambling to find another one, while the dealership just shrugs it off like it's no big deal. It may be a small error for them, but it's a huge problem for families like mine. If you're thinking about buying from Big Two Toyota, be careful. The salespeople might seem friendly, but the managers are the ones who make the real decisions, and they don't care who gets hurt in the process. They broke their promise to us, and now we're left without a car, thanks to their dishonest practices. I don't want anyone else to go through what we did. Find a dealership that values honesty and actually keeps its promises. Trust me, you don't want to deal with the stress and disappointment we went through at Camelback Toyota. Your family deserves better.
