Dealership Sales Review
Spent a day looking at dealership. Found 1 vehicle I loved and 1 vehicle used if issues with either occurred. Went back next day to make purchase. New vehicle was (salesman showed me gps app showing the new vehicle was somehow not on the lot) and he had no idea why so I settled for used vehicle Never settle. Sticker price for used vehicle was 25000. Used vehicle had 49000 miles. My husband's credit score was 800 at the beginning of the day. The interest promised couldn't be promised because the car that was 'missing' was unable to be purchased. My credit was not 800 but wasn't horrid either. They promised there would only be one hard check and an interest of whatever % I put 8,500 down, and have made 3 of the 460 dollar payments paid at $500 each. The 3 payments equal roughly a total of 500 towards principal. So if we add the 500 + the 8500 put for money down, it = a total of 9,000. If you don't include taxes and fees sticker price of $25000, - the 9000 = 16000. Now calculating in the taxes and fees at most say $5,000 roughly right? So add 16,000 + 5,000 should = 21,000 right? How the hell is it, that my owed amount is 28,000. This would mean that taxes and fees and everything would equal 28,000-21,000=7000. So somehow taxes and fees are a total of $12,000 ? $12,000 on a used vehicle with 49,000 miles. The car is worth 22,000 I would not send my worst enemy to this dealer. They lied before I even left the building in 4 different ways and I didn't have the sense or the knowledge to know what I do now know. & I would do anything to never have to step foot in that city let alone the dealership and now I have no choice but to in order to have the recall fixed that has the potential of being deadly. What a total joke, and it's my dumb senseless brain that got me here. I would recommend never even looking in this dealers direction.
