2016 BMW X3 xDrive28i 4dr SUV AWD (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 8A)

I have really enjoyed this vehicle until my CID display recently died on me. Took it to the dealer and they told me BMW does not just sell the display as a replacement part, but that I had to purchase an entire new sub assembly that included the display as well as other components.
