2023 Audi A4 Premium S line 4dr Sedan AWD w/45 TFSI (2.0L 4cyl Turbo gas/electric mild hybrid 7AM)
I upgraded from a 2020 VW GLI S to an Audi A4 premium 45 S-line .
Here are my observations:
1: steering is lighter but more direct than the GLI
2: DSG 7-speed shifts faster in the Audi
3: everything seems to be built with a higher grade in the Audi. ( doors slam shut with authority)
4: interior is amazing in build / design / quality ( GLI has a good interior though )
5: less body roll … in the Audi. It corners flat.
6: engine is quieter ( not entirely a good thing)
7: excellent stereo in the Audi
8: GLI has much more interior storage & trunk storage.
9: Audi is faster but less dramatic about it
10: GLI has more observable oversteer ( this is good)
Overall the Audi has been an excellent upgrade.
6 month update: AWD work’s excellent in hard winter. Heated steering wheel and seats are extra hot. 7500 miles in, zero issues to report. Good power and fuel economy. I am very satisfied with this car.
