You can get a fully loaded TL with tech package and a premium package loaded G37 for around 38-39k which it near the same price and performance power as the Max but your getting much better service and treatment from the Acura and Infiniti dealer then you are from Nissan. Relax, it isn't Nissan's fault. All manufacturers are having the same problem with batteries. Same thing happened to our Altima and both of our Honda Pilots. They die almost 2 years on the nose. With more and more electronic equipment on cars, batteries are subjected to far greater loads than ever before, and the heat in southern climates kills them. Did you get this resolved? We took our 2010 Maxima in for the starter button clicking and not starting. The nissan service center could not find the problem and we left with it not resolved. Mine does to and its a 2010. The 2009-2011 all have shaking front passenger seats. I can't for the life of me believe you would waste your time suing over a shaking seat. Nissan has extended the CVT waranty to 120,000 miles at no cost. Instead of having 5 or 6 or 7 speeds, the ratios are infinite. My 2010 maxima likes to find the most economical gear as soon as you start rolling so the engine is not turning high RPMs providing you are light on the throttle. I've had the same thing with my 10 Maxima with vibrations. I haven't had any problems with the alignment or steering being off center but the vibrations are entirely due to the tires. I've been through this with Nissan and my local Goodyear tire dealership. I had vibration with my 09 Maxima SV with the 19 inch Goodyear Eagle tires. First time they said they needed balancing. That didn't do it, next time they said they needed to trim the rotors as they were warped. They did that and it helped but I can still feel a vibration in the the car. Hi, The issue has been fixed. After involving NissanUSA customer service and several trips to the dealership, the Nissan Engineers in Tenessee recommended a valve assembly replacement. It took about a week to get the parts and few hours to replace. I have driven the car for about 2000 miles since, and it is a complete different acceleration and performance. Had a FX35 before this Maxima which had practically the same identical VQ engine with just a different displacement, etc. I had absolutely no knocking/pinging/clinging from the heat shield/exhaust system yet my 2010 Maxima is down right terrible/intense with knocking/pinging/clinging when the engine is both on/idling/running and when cooling off in the garage or driveway. I think my deal was ok. 2010 Nissan Maxima SV MSRP 38662 [All options except the spoiler and nav/dvd system] I got it down to 33k. I also had a trade in which brought it down to 30500. After taxes, titles and fees total was 33k, which was the top end of my budget for a new car.

I never go to them to have the oil/filter, etc done! they don't even have a waiting room to sit down in if you have to have your car serviced their for whatever reason! all they have is a hard wooden bench outside the service advisory area that can maybe sit 3-4 people and soda vending machine! ... Sorry you guys are having issues. Mine has been running great..no vibrations or seat shifting. If I keep my foot out of it, I'm getting 28-29 mpg on the open road and averaging 25.2 for all driving. Just closed on a 2010 Armada last week. The $500 is cash back to the customer regardless of financing. This is for ALL Nissan products. The other rebates are either $1200 cash back or 0%.
