Sounds like a distributor. I have a 1995 2 dr Tahoe and it stopped all of a sudden on me like that. I waited 15 minutes and it started back up. But, it just got worse and worse...then i took it to a shop and it was the distributor (about 400 bucks). Knowing things changed from 1995 to late 90's on those things, it could be something else. Parking & Dash lights not working???

Ok a couple of months ago I got into a wreck. Just now finished fixing the whole front end. All of the lights are working except my dash lights & my parking lights? Is there a fuse for these lights? HI!!! I own a 1995 GMC Yukon 6.5 TD 4 WD. Since I�ve purchased it, i have problems to engage the low 4WD traction. I would like to know how can I engage it and disengage it without hearing weird noises in my transmition. Thanks a lot!

I have a 1995 GMC Suburban SLT with 145K miles on it. I have owned it since 92K miles in early 2001. I have rebuilt the front and rear ends more as prevention than need and have replaced the muffler, cat, and shocks. That is it. The only unusual repair was a leaking coolant fitting at the back of the intake manifold. I am selling it, but probably should not be! ... Read More

I have a 1995 Yukon which Lost "Cruise Control" 5.7L 75Kmi. The Cruise Quit just after the warranty period! (Thanks GMC/GM !, But does anyone have any simple diagnostics, a TSB, or a previous post on the subject? I've been puting off to go to the Dealer$ as $ and the use of Cruise is limited.
