Hi merckx. This is the Cadillac STS Lease Questions discussion. Are you interested in leasing these cars? If so, I am sorry to say that GM is no longer offering leases on 2006 models through GMAC. If you want to lease an '06 STS you will have to do so through an independent bank. As far as the '07 model goes, GM is currently providing $1,500 lease cash on the STS ... Read More

Though I am also very curious about what other changes will occur for 2007, I have never seen anything from GM to indicate that the six speed automatic in the C6 Corvette does a “rev match on downshift”, though various sources report that it does. I have seen nothing in any 2006 C6 Press Release, the on line order guide or the Owner’s Manual to indicate that it does. I have ... Read More

Greetings Jim. I can give you an idea of what GMAC's current lease program on this car is like. Its lease program varies depending upon how long you lease it for and how many miles per year you are allowed to drive it. For now, I will assume that you are interested in a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles per year. Let me know if you want something different. If ... Read More

For now I will assume that you are interested in a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles per year. Correct me if I am wrong. There is talk of the STS-V having a supercharged/turbocharged V8. I am guessing that the STS-V will be a 2006 model at the earliest. I would suggest talking with your dealer(s) to see what they have to say. Until Cadillac announces something, the dealers probably can't do much. However, they could put you on a "list", and call you when they know something.
