TOKYO — The Suzuki Crosshiker, X-Lander, Hustler and Hustler Coupe concepts are bound for the 2013 Tokyo Auto Show.

The Crosshiker is a compact crossover derived from the Suzuki Regina concept shown at the 2011 Tokyo Auto Show. This concept weighs in at just 1,786 pounds and features a 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine. The Japanese automaker says the car "strikes a good balance between power and environmental performance."

The Suzuki X-Lander is based on the Jimny, Suzuki's Jeep-like SUV. It features a 1.3-liter engine and a hybrid system. Suzuki said it is designed to look "like a fusion of off-road power and mechanical precision."

The Hustler twins aim to blend the attributes of a minicar with a crossover. The two are said to appeal to outdoor enthusiasts.

Suzuki will resurrect the iV-4 compact crossover, which debuted at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show, for a Tokyo appearance.

Edmunds says: Since Suzuki is gone from the U.S. auto market, these concepts are little more than objects of curiosity.
