2024 Tesla Cybertruck
First thing you will notice driving is the steer by wire. It has become something I will demand of any future vehicle purchases. It makes maneuvering effortless and gives the truck a much sporter feel while not making it twitchy going down the highway. The suspension is very comfortable while still allowing flat handling on twisties in sport mode. The size is just right for child … seats in the rear with a ~6' enclosed bed and has an extremely tight turning radius. I had a Rivian R1T before and that back seat was a deal breaker for car seats. The rear seats fold up and gives you a dead flat floor and the suspension drops to ~8" of ground clearance for easy entry/exit. If you have a large, old dog, they will have a easier time getting in and dog mode will keep them cool if you have to run into a store on a hot day. While in the store, you can use sentry mode to see how they are doing inside. The cabin is very quiet and has a great sound system. It feels more spacious inside then it looks from the outside. The offroad modes make this truck very capable offroad. The onboard power inverter has 120 and 240V outlets so you can power almost anything: job site, campsite, tailgate. Oh and FSD will basically drive anywhere you put into the gps. Nearly all of the boring driving I leave to FSD and I take over when the road opens up to enjoy driving. The A-pillars aren't a problem for visibility on most roads but I do find myself moving my head a lot on bendy roads.
The bandwidth of what the truck can do well is probably the most impressive thing to me. Its my luxury cruiser, weekend joy rider, home chore workhorse, daily commuter/chauffeur, family hauler, and home power backup (+$2500 + install).
