TX over Toyota everytime

EP904, 06/15/2024
2024 Lexus TX
Toyota dealers are charging way above MSRP for a hybrid platinum grand highlander, if they have any to sell as Toyota has limited production. With no hybrid models available, we drove both gas powered models. The TX was superior in every way. More stylish, smoother ride, quieter cabin, nicer finishes, much bigger front display screen, a longer warranty and more. Plus our Lexus dealer … had several TXs on the lot and was willing to discount the price below MSRP. We paid $65k for a loaded luxury trim AWD TX350. Toyota dealer up charged the AWD platinum Grand Highlander and wanted $64k, no negotiating. Easiest decision we ever made. Not sure why so many criticize the engine. It’s not a Porsche afterall. We think engine power is more than adequate for a large SUV. Had the TX for 2 weeks now and love it. No issues.
