2000 Lexus LX 470
We bought this car in 2000 on Maui so it only has 130,000 miles on it (we only drove it 6 months out of the year, typically). We left Maui in 2023, shipped it to LA, picked it up there and drove it to Florida. The driving performance was outstanding. On Maui, it was never above 55 mph but on the mainland we were able to really exercise it. MPG was still good at 15 to 17 mpg depending on … (interstate) speed. The only "repair" we ever did was convert suspension system with standard shock absorbers in 2021. I have owned Cadillacs, Mercedes, Jaguars and many more. This vehicle is the best of all. We have had a few minor repairs but nothing major. So glad we brought it back.
