1998 Lexus GS 400
Super smooth, quiet, scary fast. Build quality is outstanding and the feeling of luxury without tackiness is excellent. Feels much higher quality than the BMW 540i, especially in and around the dash and the quality of the leather. The leather in the BMW feels like naugahyde in comparison The stereo is excellent and makes the BMW sound like a cheap boom box. Handles … extremely well, even when pushed hard, though there is some insulation from road feel. This car has been VERY reliable and the dealer has treated me like a king for service. All in all, I will be looking hard at a new GS when the model style changes.
