1990 Isuzu Trooper
These things are indestructible!! It’s more than a boxy suv on wheels. I bought mine used with 78k miles on it in 2001. Still have it and it has well over 200k miles on it and still going. Air is still ice cold, stereo still works great, it doesn’t leak, use or burn oil. Amazing. 4x4 still engages perfectly. I have the 2.6 model that is pretty bare boned with a 5-speed tranny … and the gas mileage is still about 26 on the highway. The only problem I have which is common on the first gen troopers is body rust. I have rust around the wheel wells but not much and it’s easily fixable. I love this suv and if I can find another one (they’re popular with enthusiasts) I’d buy it in an instant.
