Used 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara Consumer Reviews
Excellent Compact SUV
The Suzuki Grand Vitara is an excellent choice for a compact SUV. The V6 Luxury model has plenty of power and gets great gas milage. The interior is very nice with a great stock stereo and sound system. It is XM radio and MP3 player ready.
Great for 3 years...
I bought my G.V. new and enjoyed 3 years of problem-free transportation. At 38,000 miles, the engine failed and required significant work to replace a broken 2 part gear which drives the Cam. The work took more than 6 weeks to complete. 3 weeks after the vehicle was returned to me, it broke down again. Yet more engine work took 4 weeks to complete. Throughout this experience, I learned that Suzuki's Customer Service is poor despite their claim of America's best powertrain warranty. After deciding I could no longer rely on this vehicle, I traded it in for a 2009 Toyota RAV4. Never again will I purchase a Suzuki product.

A Lot of Truck for the Money
I love the truck. I have been watching the Grand Vitara for a bit and the articles I read all had positive things to say about it.
Nice Redesign
For the money, the Grand Vitara is a very nice vehicle. It is much bigger than the Toyota RAV4 and with lots of nice features. The '06 is much better than last year's model in looks and quality.
The Perfect SUV!
Ths Suzuki Grand Vitara has an excellent ride. It is absolute FUN! It has a smooth, sleek design, and I am getting over 30 mpg highway gas mileage. This truck has lots of zip.
