After reviewing nearly every midsize SUV availabe for under $25,000, I instantly knew the '06 Grand Vitara was the one for me. It has an amazing look and great power behind it. You can not go wrong with this vehicle.

An unexpected purchase

I wasn't expecting to buy, but 3 1/2 hours later drove off with my new '06 Grand Vitara with the luxury package. My father had owned a '93 Sidekick and best friend an old '87 Samurai, which are quite plebian by the Vitara's standards, but Suzuki always had a great reputation for its engines and drivetrains. I got a "killer deal" with $5,000 off the MSRP and they are putting in the XM from my old car into the Vitara for free. So, for $18,500 I have all the bells and whistles, moonroof, leather, nice stereo, etc... you just can't get this level of performance, engine, and a luxury package with any other SUV in it's class or higher. All Japaneese parts and assembly is certainly a plus.

Love the Grand Vitara. I had a '99 Dodge Intrepid with the 2.7 engine and my Grand Vitara has so much more pick up It cruies on the interstate at 75-85 mph quite well. The only complaint, I have is on the luxury model with CD/Aux radio, I still haven't found the input jack. I guess that is optional.

I purchased my Suzuki after looking at and comparing many vehicles in this class. Mainly I looked at the Toyota RAV4 and the Honda CR-V. I love Suzuki because it has plenty of power, it's fun to drive, and it has a cool audio system with MP3 standard. The best part is the warranty that comes with the vehicle. It has very nice handling.

I have always been a sedan driver. I preferred Nissan over other sedans. When I purchased my Suzuki Grand Vitara February 13, 2006 really was in the market for a new Nissan Altima but was amazed at the design of the Grand Vitara and how easy it was to drive without feeling like I was in a big Ford truck. Thanks Suzuki for designing such a wonderful vehicle. I have been a Nissan owner for over 20 years so to get me hooked on your vehicle says a whole lot. I love My Suzuki Grand Vitara.
