2023 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X 4dr Crew Cab 4WD 5.0 ft. SB (3.8L 6cyl 9A)
Just traded a 2019 Tacoma for a new Frontier Pro 4X. I switched to Toyota from three Nissan's in a row mostly because I liked the looks. Was very unhappy with Toyota's performance, mileage, and the fact it left me stranded in the heat three times in a row (vapor lock due to a poorly designed fuel pump). Also the ride and shifting were always choppy. The new Frontier is largely a … Toyota clone in the exterior looks department. Peformance-wise, it's miles ahead in ride and power. The back seat still isn't useful for much more than kids and groceries, and I'm still learning to navigate the tech features, but I haven't found a bell or whistle missing. If you're looking for a mid-sized pickup, drive this one last, you're going to be at the dealership until they hand you the keys.
