2025 Toyota Camry LE 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
What a nice smooth ride. I cannot believe that the SE version has a better ride! Have to watch my speed!!!!!
Love the adaptive cruise control. When you are cruising and hit traffic the car reacts without any heavy braking which is very nice, it also accelerates at a very good pace to get back up to speed.
Blind side monitors are a great feature and should be in all cars!!
I was a … Prius owner for 15 years and went with the Camry because they stated the MPG were 53 city 51 highway for the LE and it is a bigger car with better comfort for a ride (My Prius was getting 50MPG). Here is my first 4 days of actual tracked miles per gallon:
Cruise Control set to 70MPH
AC set to auto at 76 degrees Fahrenheit
Temperature was between 65 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
Drove 519 miles (480 was all highway) put in 9.64 gallons
MPG was 53.8 (MPG gauge in the car told me I was getting 54.4)
The first couple of days I drove back roads and got 57.8MPG
I will Edit again in January top see how much it drops in New England winter.
Does have a very small hum when running on the electric motor at slow speeds but can't here it with the radio on. A different sound than I was used to from my Prius.
UPDATE 7/29/24
The hum I am hearing is coming from the hybrid battery, you can hardly hear it in the car as I stated above but outside the car you can hear it. To me this is a good thing as my Prius was so quiet no one could hear me coming running on battery BUT in the Camry they can (Added safety feature:))
