This is one heck of a vehicle! An incredible first

2025 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition 4dr SUV AWD (electric DD)
Having driven multiple EVs and owned multiple EVs My decision to purchase the Wagoneer S with solely based on value. I was able to do a no money down lease of the vehicle for 24 months 10,000 mi and I figured what's the risk? The car has a sticker price of around 72k keeping with the less than 1% rule on leasing was quite easy with all of the available rebates and incentives. Performance … is outstanding not only from the perspective of acceleration but ride quality is much better than I would have expected for an SUV that weighs close to 6,000 lb. The vehicle rides on relatively skinny tires obviously to improve EeV efficiency, and still rides and drives in a competent and sporty manner. My only issue has to do with The regenerative braking it's either too much or too little there's no middle ground. As far as efficiency goes I'm averaging 3.8 miles per kilowatt which in the EV world is considered outstanding. While the indication of miles remaining has never gone over 300 total, there has been days in which I have driven a hundred plus miles and the vehicle does such a good job with efficiency that I pull back in my driveway with over 220 mi left to go. My estimate for real world is closer to 330 to 350 mi of range in city type traffic. Obviously range will vary on the highway versus City especially at highway speeds.
Lots of the reviews you read about this vehicle are done by folks that have been in nothing but Tesla's for a number of years. This does not have the sophistication or the software that a Tesla has and feels more like a traditional vehicle that happens to be an EV versus an EV that is a very much non-traditional vehicle like the Tesla. I also currently own a Model y which I'm very happy with as well and the software on the Tesla product by far is more sophisticated, intelligent, and robust then that on the Jeep. That being said I'm a little bit forgiving of the fact that the Jeep family is brand new to the EV world and I'm hoping that in short time software improvements happen as well as availability to the Tesla supercharging network. If you can land a good deal on this vehicle it's the perfect size for empty nesters like my wife and I who do need the ability to have two people ride in the back comfortably every now and then and the ability to haul mulch from the local Lowe's a couple times a year. You won't be disappointed especially when you're right foot hits the floor and in 3.4 seconds you're going 60 miles an hour but the enjoyment of this vehicle is more about driving around town with your temperature controlled seats at a desirable level and one of five massage options selected with one of three levels of massage. It's a great vehicle to drive and enjoy. I hope the next 18,000 mi have been as enjoyable as the first 2000 mi!
