2024 Hyundai Elantra SEL 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl CVT)
In january at 8k miles i had constant oil system issues. Reoccurring oil pressure lights eventually lead to a check engine light and a red oil light. i needed multiple sensors and my oil pump replaced after my car was towed in to my hyundai dealer. (after about 3 failed attempts at solving this issue they fixed it). My car seemed to do fine for about a month and a half after these … repairs. now, i have the same intermittent oil pressure warning but alongside constant cvt issues. slipping and loss of acceleration is not okay at 12k miles!!! my transmission slipped and lost acceleration while merging on a highway. i was stuck going 30 mph. no warning lights or any stored codes. My transmission also now makes an obnoxious whining noise on acceleration from only a complete stop and seems to follow rpms. Hyundai said my tranny was fine but it obviously is not. hyundai won’t even let you touch the cvt fluid without voiding the warranty which is such a red flag for such a crappy transmission! Just a waiting game until this thing blows up. literally get any other car i don’t know how hyundais reliability is even close to top of the charts if they can’t make a car that can last even 10k miles without repairs or constant issues after another. im so done with this pos car
