RC F is for the loyal hearth!
Cem G, 07/20/2021
2020 Lexus RC F 2dr Coupe (5.0L 8cyl 8A)
At this price point, with RC F you are committing to a prior generation set up - heavy / thirsty v8, less torque, infotainment with touch pad...etc. You can walk to BMW and grab M3/M4 latest flashy tech, turbo engines with better gas mileage that puts much more torque and similar horses with V6. But you are somebody you passed that stage of your life experience. You don't want push … push push driving, you want details. You want to touch things and don't feel short cuts. You want something looks like a sport car, something unique, not volume leaders with heavy make up (German sport sedans). You compromise flashy tech because you did not grown up with iPads in your face, you grown up admiring the speedometer. You value long term reliability because you don't like to waste money and time at dealerships. You value good sound system or/and good sounding engine. You want to be the dark horse, not puppy with turbos. This car is for you. Ignore the you tubers, reviewers, flash boys. I am mid 40s, don't risk my life speeding in public roads and don't race. I enjoy every moment of this car. I even like the touch pad. For the size and weight, it handles as good as AWDs - mine has torque vectoring and carbon packages. It accelerates as fast as you need. It screams attention to details and quality. It is a steal at this price. And for reference, I am coming in the order of VW-BMW-Acura and my wife drives Alfa Romeo Giulia QV. Bottom line, you can't go wrong with Lexus!
