edmunds TESTED
The 2026 Infiniti QX60 is big on style and standard features, and it undercuts many of its three-row luxury SUV competitors by thousands of dollars. But it's not as comfortable or as engaging as its rivals, and though its features look impressive on paper, their execution falls short of the leaders in the class.
Pros
- Pro:Generous passenger space
- Pro:Cabin is quiet and features high-quality materials
- Pro:Comes with lots of features for the price
Cons
- Con:Ride quality can sometimes be too stiff or overly soft
- Con:Front seats aren't particularly comfortable for a luxury SUV
What’s new
- Refreshed exterior styling
- New infotainment system with Google Built-In
- Sensory trim replaced with new Sport grade
- Part of the second QX60 generation launched for 2022

2026 INFINITI QX60 Review
Overview

The QX60 is Infiniti's three-row midsize luxury SUV, slotting between the compact QX50 and the flagship QX80. It's powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder and can be had in front- or all-wheel drive. For 2026, the QX60 gets an exterior refresh that draws inspiration from its larger sibling, which itself was redesigned last year. The QX60 also gets new standard and available equipment that raises its value quotient. If you want a luxury vehicle with room for six or seven people but don't want to pay Mercedes-Benz or BMW prices, the QX60 is a compelling option.
Edmunds spotlight: All of the QX60's changes for 2026
The QX60 just got a new engine last year, but Infiniti wasn't done updating its midsize SUV. For 2026, the QX60 gets an exterior refresh that takes cues from the recently redesigned QX80. The revised grille is more angular and features an illuminated Infiniti emblem. The headlights and taillights have also been restyled, with daytime running lights featuring LED technology and segmented into separate elements. In addition to the new look, the 2026 QX60 gets a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system running Google Built-In infotainment and navigation, which is standard across the lineup along with a matching 12.3-inch instrument display. The new system also now supports wireless Android Auto alongside wireless Apple CarPlay. The QX60's available premium audio systems, which used to wear Bose branding, are now supplied by high-end speaker maker Klipsch. Lastly, the top trim levels, including the all-new Sport grade, come standard with all-wheel drive.
Competitors to consider
The 2026 Infiniti QX60 has a lot to offer luxury shoppers, particularly ones on a budget, but there are several other three-row premium midsizers to consider. The Acura MDX marries luxury SUV space, comfort and practicality with a surprisingly entertaining driving experience. It's priced close to the QX60 and is equipped with a more responsive and slightly more powerful V6. There's also the Genesis GV80, which offers an available (though small) third-row seat. It's solidly built, well equipped, comfortable and satisfying to drive. Like the other two, it also has an attractive starting price. Check out our test team's Expert Rating below for more on how the QX60 measures up to its rivals.
Which QX60 does Edmunds recommend?
We like the QX60 Luxe trim for its balance of features and value. You not only get the ProPilot Assist suite of semi-automated driving features, but you also get to enjoy ventilated front seats, a 16-speaker premium audio system and heated second-row seats.

2023 INFINITI QX60 SENSORY 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 9A)
I bought a new QX60 in august of 2022. It has been nothing but a nightmare since the very beginning. When I first bought it, it began malfunctioning in numerous ways and I brought it in repeatedly with dozens of videos of proof of the car malfunctioning. Since they “couldn’t duplicate” the issue they refused to do anything about it other than check that the software is up to date. I even … brought it in clearly malfunctioning at one point, but my service advisor conveniently forgot about that. Now, over a year later, it has been in the shop countless times for a total of months at this point. They have replaced, according to my repair records, at least 17000$ worth of things that were covered under warranty but my car is now malfunctioning worse than ever.
They FINALLY agreed to repurchase it, after months and months of gaslighting. Even blaming a CHARGING CABLE plugged into the back seat of my car for all of my problems at one point. The problem is, they are inaccurately applying my states lemon law and not properly acknowledging when my car qualified as a lemon. They are trying to not acknowledge or reimburse me for all of the time my car has had problems, stating that all of the times I brought it in from the beginning don’t count because they didn’t actually do a repair, even though I was BEGGING them to fix it. Infiniti is claiming my car just now qualifies as a lemon, ignoring my repeated attempts from the beginning to try to get my car fixed. My dealership even falsified my service records for one of my visits, masking a repair attempt that would have qualified it as a lemon sooner.
Infiniti is claiming that they don’t have to reimburse me for nearly as much as if they properly followed the laws set forth by my state. They are trying to cheat me out of as much as 14,000$.
Be very weary of this company. Save yourself the headache and avoid these cars at all cost, especially the QX60.
Rattled at my QX60

2023 INFINITI QX60 SENSORY 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 9A)
I thought buying a luxury vehicle meant a quiet smooth ride. The headliner/sunroof has a rattle like a tin can right above the driver's head. Infiniti Service Dept has looked at it several times and kept the vehicle for 2 weeks. The rattle is still present and the fix continues to elude Infiniti Service Techs. If I apply slight pressure with my hand to the headliner the rattle stops. … We also just received a recall notice about the seats breaking at the weld in the event of a collision.
Liked the car for the first 2000 miles BUT

2023 INFINITI QX60 AUTOGRAPH 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 9A)
We liked all the amenities and styling the new qx 60 offers but it came to an abrupt halt. The front heated seat do not get hot; Luke warm at best. The dealer looked at it and there is no fix at this time.Secondly the wireless charger does not operate properly. It was reported to dealer (with video proof) and was told we can not duplicate the problem. Third the TPMS does not work as any … other vehicle on the market. I had a FLAT tire and the TPMS lamp didn’t illuminate (with video proof again); told by dealer you have to drive at 25MPH for it to register. Fourth the radio screen went black. The dealer updated firmware and so far so good on that problem. #INFINITI -do not buy!!! Service after sale is a complete joke.
Disappointing

2023 INFINITI QX60 SENSORY 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 9A)
The car is very comfortable and handles the road well. Smooth Transmission and good acceleration and a comfortable cabin with front massaging seats for the longer drives. Where it completely misses the mark is the sound system and electronics.. peak sound using surround effects of all speakers is only available with Apple Car Play which doesn’t connect on a continuous basis.. there are … days where I have no sound for up to 30 minutes. Says no devices connected yet you can see the song highlighted and the progress bar clearly moving.. electronics, great option but they keep going out.. heads up display disappeared, tire pressure monitoring worked then went out.. auto wipers work some days out others, locks work but have had days where it will only open using the key fob.. owned it three months and it’s been in the shop 4 times.. never had these issues with previous QX60. Quality has diminished without question.
