Tacoma Subaru
Dealership Service Review
I took my 2005 Legacy here because it needed a new crankshaft pulley. While the repair was a bit expensive, they did a good job on it. The problem I have with Tacoma Subaru is that they told me my car also had a head gasket leak, repair cost $4,000. My car has a new turbo engine with less than 40K miles on it so I took it elsewhere to get another opinion. While it did have a small oil leak from a loose metal clamp there was NOTHING wrong with the head gasket, no leaks there at all. I'm not happy with their diagnosis of an expensive and unnecessary repair. I went back and confronted them with their misdiagnosis which they reluctantly admitted to only after I insisted on seeing the nonexistent head gasket leak.
