Used car buyer beware
Written by TommyAE on 11/19/2015

The car I purchased was through the Pen Fed your car buying service at Sheehy Nissan of Manassas. They did not give the price on the car that Pen Fed guaranteed. The salesman (Naldo Sousa) and the Manager (Luke Peligkan) gave me one key for the car but promised IN WRITING to have another one made for me. That never happened even after dozens of phone calls and leaving messages to the manage Luke Pelikan and his superior. They just kept giving me new numbers for 3 months and no one ever returned my phone calls. It took them about two weeks to get me the car because warning lights "multiple" on the instrument panel kept coming on. I had to bring it to them and they had to bring it to Audi on two occasions in the first week or two. Then after driving the car less than 300 miles the clutch and flywheel blew. They refused to honor their warrantee and claiming that was not their problem even though it specifically states in their warrantee that those parts are covered. They charged me over $2,800 to replace the clutch and fly wheel. I have driven the car over 10,000 miles now and have not had a problem with the clutch since. Obviously it was not user error and they knowingly sold me a defective product "a Lemmon" and then denied all liability. This is just another case of big company pulling a fast one on an unsuspecting customer. Big companies like this can do that because they know the average person does not have the ability to hire a lawyer or the knowledge to fight this injustice on their own. Sheehy Also claimed to have done around $1,500 worth of work to the car to prepare it for sale. They said they replaced all the rotors but that was not true, The rotors on that car were on it long before I purchased it. It seems the only thing they did do was clean the car up, put new tires on it, and change the oil, as far as I know everything else was a fabrication. Used car buyer beware
