Dealership Sales Review
First off, I would like to share that I have purchased high end used cars from other dealership in the area (Manassas specifically) and based on those poor customer service experiences I was skeptical entering into Select Auto's dealership. I had done some research online looking to trade my 2013 BMW 750 in for a newer model and came across Select Auto. Their prices seemed within the appropriate range, the car's mileage seemed great and their customer service ratings across multiple sources was really good. Nonetheless, I was still skeptical based on previous poor experiences. That quickly dissipated when I met the Select Auto team. Let me provide you a list of folks I worked with. Naser Ghaznawi was my salesman, Mike Haji (the owner) was my finance person and Terry processed the purchase. I met Naser over the phone before I came and he was very welcoming and pleasant. When I arrived at the dealership I first met Mike Haji who already knew that I was coming and welcomed me to his establishment. Good first sign. Naser introduced himself and before we even looked at the car we sat down to discuss my needs/wants and what I wanted to do if we could make the deal happen. I handed him my terms and discussed my needs/wants and we then discussed family and other areas of interest. I explained that I did not need to test drive the vehicle at this point until we could meet on the basic terms because there was no point continuing if we could not agree at that basic level. I then handed him my keys to the 2013 so that he could determine the trade in value and we went outside to look at the car. As I expected it was in tip top condition. The pictures of the vehicle were accurate and the features assigned online to the vehicle were accurate as well. Naser decided to drive me around so that I could see the features of the car. I could tell he had a great deal of expertise and he did a great job explaining all aspects of the car. Even with his explanation and the drive I did not feel any pressure. It was a relaxed discussion open for questions and dialogue. When we got back to the dealership we discussed my terms and he took a look at the trade in information he received. Next, I was handed off to Mike who discussed the numbers and finance options. We entered into negotiations and Mike was not pushy but instead gracious throughout the whole process. He explained his company's philosophy which was to provide great quality cars, low mileage along with great customer service. From my experience he has been successful in making sure the culture of his company reflects this concept and theme. Once we agreed on the terms I worked with Terry who was exceptional as well. She made sure I had the best possible rate based on high credit score in addition to working me through all the necessary paper work. During the process I explained that I needed to get back home soon so Terry and Naser facilitated the transport of the remaining items in my car to the new car which was very helpful. Then another nice surprise was Naser coming in asking if it was ok if he filled up the gas tank before I left. It was nice thoughtful touches like this that show they care about their customer's experience and continue to build relationships with their clientele. As the title says, it was an awesome experience and if I am in the market to purchase another used vehicle for myself or family they will be the first and probably only dealership I go to. In addition, will be recommending their dealership to family and friends. Mike, thanks for creating a great company culture and Naser and Terry thanks for making my experience great.
