This was one of the worst buying experiences I've ever experienced. Worked out the deal in advance over the phone as we live an hour away. Showed up on a Wednesday to purchase with pre-approval financing from our bank. Even with this, they wouldn't release the car until the wire transfer went through. I've been buying cars for 30 years and never had this happen with a bank's pre-approval, but ok. The finance manager, Aaron, became less than pleasant when we declined his extended warranty spiel, but we moved forward and arranged to pick up the car the next week (Monday). Fortunately, I called before making the drive to check they had received the money. Turns out they had not received payment yet. After calling my bank, it seems that an error was made in the paperwork on their end. My bank had called and faxed on Friday to resolve the issue and never heard from them. I notified them of their error, and they corrected their mistake and resubmitted the paperwork. When I asked if I could still come get the car, they refused saying I had to wait ANOTHER few days until the payment went through, even though the reason for the delay was due to their error, as well as ignoring my bank's attempt to resolve the issue days prior. If I hadn't called, they would have wasted another 2 hours of my time, and I would have had to make a THIRD 2 hour round trip. Our sales contact was great, trying to resolve the issue, but he didn't have the authority to release the car. I escalated to a manager named Jamie. He was not helpful, even suggesting that if I had financed through them that I could have had the car already (at a much higher interest rate). Why is me paying more money a solution to this problem? When he rudely suggested that 'we part ways', I decided that I'd spend my money elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend them and will be actively warning others to avoid purchasing from them.
