Be careful of scams
Written by 11/24/2015
onFirst, it is very difficult to get any email responses from this dealership, not sure why they have any email option listed to be honest. Second, please be wary of the finance department, there is a scam nationwide at dealerships where they have you sign the paperwork for your vehicle, then a few days later tell you that the original financing fell through and that they need you to come sign some new finance papers. This is what happened to me with this dealership, of course the secondary financing paperwork was for a higher interest rate and with an institution that I now have to create a new account at.

Dealer Response
Thank you for sharing your feedback. It is always unfortunate when our customers are inconvenienced by having to resign paperwork due to changes in the approval from our banks. Many of the banks we work with will give us conditional approvals which may change for various reasons, usually having to due with verified information regarding employment etc not matching what was originally stated on the application. Whatever the reason in your particular case, I can assure you that Murdock Hyundai does not intentionally misrepresent terms on original contracts to make you resign later for less-attractive terms. If the bank chose to increase the rate that is their decision, not ours... and not one from which we benefit.
It sounds as though we've done a poor job responding to you and explaining things. If you would please email me your contact information I will respond to you directly and promptly.
