Dealership Sales Review
My experience started off very well. The finance manager seemed to do all he could to get me in the car at the price and interest rate I needed to be at. He even said he'd throw in an extra bumper to bumper warranty. Come to find out he threw in the warranty but at an extra cost of $2665. Mind you the car was a 2016; used but still has plenty of warranty left on it. When I went back to the dealership to ask why he had charged me he said he had to in order to get me the interest rate I got but then told me he could remove it but the money would be sent to the finance company. So the finance company is requiring me to have this warranty yet you can remove it only to send them the money? Doesn't sound right to me. So the finance company call me to verify my info and I asked them about this. They told me that they never heard of such a thing and that it wasn't true and actually not having that extra money on loan makes it less of a risk for them. Furthermore they included an erroneous fee for tint and nitrogen that they never even applied to the vehicle. Then told me it was just a standard fee they add in. Seems to me this dealership is more concerned about selling their add on than they are the actual car. These extra charges changes my payment by $70 a month. It's a shame that a business have such deceitful consumer practices. It is in their power to alter that interest rate to their liking and they force add ons on consumers in order to get the better rate. This is not a good business practice and I will be filing complaints.
