Dealership Sales Review
It was fairly easy and not a pushy "car salesman" experience. It was comfortable for the most part, there were a few issues but minor. First, I felt as if the details were not as clear as they should have been. Granted, I was in a hurry to get to work, and the poor weather played a factor in the crunch for time. Secondly, (I understand that I was not an ideal customer with good credit), but I did not feel as if I got a "deal". I understand you are in the business to make money, as am I (I am a store manager in retail), however when a customer makes a large purchase with me I make sure that they are treated with 100% respect, and that they feel that they got a good deal. I was treated with 100% respect,but I did not feel as if I got a deal or value in my purchase. I feel that giving a customer a sense of value in their purchase is essential to repeat business. Even throwing that customer a bone such as "Hey, if there was one thing that you would change about this truck what would it be?" Then either offer them a percentage off of the item, or work the price of the item into the deal. That would show concern for the customer and it would help close more deals by giving them value for their purchase. Word would then spread about the exceptional service and value that Planet Ford offers their customers. Having said all that they were very respectful and I got a good price and Great truck!
