Dealership Sales Review
They had a vehicle I was going to buy. Test drove it. Previously had completed credit app and spoke with salesperson who assured me that had the type of financing I was looking for. I had one car and couldnt come during the day so the sales person picked me up and I let the family take the one car we had...which was why I was buying a 2nd veh. The salesman had a odor of alcohol, knowing exactly what I wanted to finance he brought me something not what we agreed. I then asked him to remove the down payment and the maintanence package I did not want. He came back with the down payment removed but kept the maintanence package on there and refused to remove it. The extra fees ran the cost up but still with the financing I asked for with my excellent credit they should have still been close to what I needed....instead they extended the payments and it was higher payments so then we discussed what percentage they were offering me on finance and right! it was much higher so they were sticking me all different directions. When I told them I couldnt buy it they got very angry, the finance manager told me to call uber for my ride home, the salesperson chewed me out over the time he had spent with me when all along I kept trying to get him to the office to work the deal. I didnt back out of my side of the deal but they tried to intimidate me to take a deal that was not right nor fair. Finally I got a ride home but not after some belittling from the salesperson and when I looked around the finance mgr was on the stoop watching so I guess that was for show. I would not do business with this bunch if the car was presented to me on a platter now. Ive owned many cars, bought many used and have seen some shotty salespeople but this bunch takes the prize! there really ought to be some regulation on people who can intimidate you like this and get by with it. I would have bought the vehicle and told them so if they removed the maintanence fee, gave me my financing amount and payments at 72. Done the calculations with a banker before I left so I knew what I should be around.
