Dealership Service Review
There were 36 different error codes that came up when I brought in my vehicle. The dealership service said it was the battery so they charged me $390.00 to replace the battery and do “programming “. I’ve never paid this much for a simple battery replacement. When I drove my car home from the dealership the service shifter message and electronic brake system light came on again. I brought it back to the service shop at the dealership again and was told the next possible issue was the clock spring. He ran a quote and said it would be $905.00, of which $721.00 was for the part. I looked up clock springs for my vehicle and found several parts dealers where the part was anywhere between $140 and $180…so why would the dealership charge over $700 for the same part. I’m extremely disappointed and will not bring my vehicle back unless every other shop is closed down or cannot fix an issue.
