Pat Lobb's Toyota of McKinney

I drove by the Pat Lobb dealership on a Sunday when they are closed. Their lot is open and you can peruse at leisure. I was in the market for a minivan and found the Sienna that fit my needs in the color I wanted. They have a great inventory. I wrote down the VIN and all the information from the sticker related to options. When I got home I plugged all that into Edmunds to find out the TMV prices and sent an e-mail to the dealership. The sales person contacted me on Monday and we set an appointment for Tuesday evening. In less than an hour I had taken the van for a test ride and had worked a fair deal on the van and my trade in. They actually beat the TMV price and they also had a low interest rate incentive. When I told the salesman that I was still in the looking stage and still had to check out the KIA dealership down the road there was no pressure to make a decision, in fact he even called over there to verify what the KIA dealership was offering. To make a long story bearable, after the KIA visit the next day my mind was made up on the Toyota. I called the salesman back and set up a time for the following day. When I got to the dealership that evening the van had been cleaned up, full tank of gas, and the 'finance' process was painless with explanations of but no aggressive selling of 'add ons ' I did opt for GAP insurance but I had already decided on that for any loan I got. Overall this was one of my best car buying experiences.. I felt like I received a fair deal, great service and most important in my book, no pressure to 'make a deal' and leave with the car the first time I came in. Kind of hard to believe the first few reviewers went to the same dealership.. maybe it was back when the showroom first opened... but I would not hesitate to deal with these folks again or send anyone their way. A++ in my book
