Pat Lobb's Toyota of McKinney

At the end of May 2008, my wife and I were looking for a commuter car due to the rising gas prices. We had gone out to look at the Honda Civic, but after wandering around the Honda dealership for 20 minutes and never being greeted even though several employees walked right past us, we ended up leaving and going to Pat Lobb. When we got there, we were greeted as soon as we got out of our car. The salesman took us inside and talked to us to get an idea of what we were looking for and what features we wanted and the approximate price. Once we were through with that, he suggested 2 cars to look at and went to get the first car. He brought it to the door and all we had to do was get in and do the test drive. When we decided against that one, he had the other one already picked out and asked us what color we wanted to test drive. He then went and got that vehicle and brought it to the door again (notice that we were not required to wander thru the lot trying to find a car we wanted) for us to test drive. After the test drive, we decided that we wanted to think about it before we made a final decision. Since this was the only car in stock in that color, he put it in "safe keeping" for us to make a decision. This was on the Saturday before Memorial Day and they were closed on Sunday. On Monday, we went back and told him that we wanted the car. He brought it around from the back for us and said he would be back in just a few minutes as soon as he got the paperwork started. Our processing time was very quick and we had no problem at all with delays getting the financing and never once did he try to pressure us into buying. I am not sure what was going on with the other people that said they got treated bad....although my experience is 5 months or so after some of them and they might have changed staffing. Overall, we are very pleased with the service from the sales department and will definitely go back to Pat Lobb for our next vehicle!
