Dealership Sales Review
The good: 1. I got a prompt response to my email inquiry for a quote. 2. It was the lowest quote out of 18 dealerships that I emailed. 3. They honored the quote when I got there. 4. I got the exact car I wanted and got a good price. The bad: 1. After the salesman showed me the car, I had to wait a little bit for paperwork to be prepared, maybe 20-30 minutes. I thought this could be done ahead of time to speed things up a bit. 2. After we signed the purchase agreement for the car, we had to wait for financing. For 2 Hours. Two hours? Why would it take that long to wait for financing? I have no idea. Every time I asked, I got some variation of "We're busy" The ugly: Have you ever tried to entertain two small children at a car dealership? If not, let me tell you how it works: 1. They are interested for about 15 minutes because because it's new. 2. Then they get bored and start complaining. Then you bring out the prepared snacks and toys and that entertains them for about another 15 minutes. 3. Then it all goes downhill from there. You're chasing after one kid who you thought was contained but then he discovered the back door to the outside, and your toddler decides to go lick some other customer's shoe. Go stop the shoe-licking, apologize, and the first kid is screaming "Put me down!". 4. Imagine two hours of this, and you can start to see why I didn't give them a 5 star review. Overall: They can have good prices, and maybe if you came when they weren't busy you would have a faster experience than me. Everyone individually was really nice. Their financing system needs to be sped up.
