Was shopping for a late model CX5 something available in a relatively low mile 2015 model. Jeff Haas and several other Houston dealers had similar vehicles all at about $18k with 30k or so miles. Originally found one at a dealer south of Houston and had an experience so bad that we ended up ripping up our 'contracts' and walking out of the place after wasting way too much time waiting for them to finish playing their ridiculous games. Think they make you wait as a way to wear you down. In this case, If there ever was a reason for justifiable homicide it would have been these idiots at this Mazda dealer. Liking the car and the prices generally available we decided, however, to give it another try the next day - somewhere else. Enter Cuong Nguyen and Jeff Haas Mazda - a combination so good that it almost excuses all the garbage you get at other places. Not only did he have what we wanted at the right price but also offered the same car to us in a 2016 model, with 20k less miles at a reasonable price premium. And then with only a few phone calls and emails had BOTH cars in precisely the color combo that we wanted - detailed, parked out front, and ready for our consideration when we got there. All in the space of a coupla hours and with nothing more than a phone conversation and an email or two between us! Unusual, I thought, that they would go to that much trouble with so little information about us. We decided on the 2016 and Cuong has already gotten the paperwork started [on both choices] knowing of our recent experiences at the other dealer. Amazing, my wife and I actually enjoyed the purchase and got similar service from all the folks we talked to while there. Left with a smile and in a 'new' 2016 CX5. The only negative - their location, impossible to get to at rush hour and even more unlikely that a test drive happens at that time. Understand they are moving, couldn't happen to a better group of folks - Jeff Haas Mazda [and Cuong Nguyen] definitely what a car dealer [and salesperson] should be and not what most actually are!
