AutoNation USA Katy We purchased a used Audi Q7 to drive back home to Ohio, and picked it up on New Year’s Eve day to drive home on New Year’s Day. We only drove it from the dealer to my sons house. Then headed home on New Year’s Day 126 miles into our trip the check engine light came on. It has 2 codes for the diesel particulate filter $1268 part not including labor. Tried to call and the dealer was closed. Cleared code and it comes back every 100 miles or so. Obviously they just reset the check engine light to sell the vehicle instead of fixing it. Now it won’t pass emissions test here in Ohio without thousands of dollars in repairs. Called and salesman told me that the manager said there is nothing they can do. Do not buy from this dealer, they reset the check engine lights to sell the vehicle and let the buyer pay for the repairs. I have photos of the mileage and when the check engine light came on and they refuse to make it right.
