David McDavid Honda of Frisco

I purchased a 2015 Accord EX from McDavid Honda. I've bought a lot of cars over my adulthood, and this was the best experience I have had. No pressure, no questionable tactics, no bait & switch, and no hard-sell in the finance office. My two salesmen (Hung & Stephen) were knowledgeable and provided just the type of test drives and sales experience I wanted. Then, when I was ready to make the deal, Michael (an asst sales mgr) treated me respectfully and gave me a great deal. I had come to hate buying a car because of the normal process - "you need to buy right now", "let me talk to my manager", etc. None of this was present at McDavid Honda. I told them up front how I wanted to negotiate a deal and they stuck to that. My car was the only one they had with the options and color I wanted. But, they never used that to try to pressure me to buy before I was ready. When I had tried to buy a Camry a few weeks before at a local Toyota dealer, there was nothing but pressure tactics and they even showed me a car (and I test drove it) that had already been sold. They didn't have any more in this color, so they tried to get me to negotiate/commit on one that they would have to get from another dealer. No, no, no. At McDavid, when I got to the finance office to sign all the papers, I was prepared for the normal high-pressure pitch for add-ons. But, it didn't happen, thankfully. She explained all of the different options for extended warranty and maintenance that I could purchase, and gave me the advantages of each one, but never tried to pressure me. I will definitely tell all my friends about this great experience. I am so happy with my new Accord, because it was a stress-free experience purchasing it. I had decided that I would never go through another sales experience as with the local Toyota dealer. Thankfully, McDavid Honda was there to sell me my Accord. Thanks!!
