Dealership Sales Review
After spending a few months talking to someone in Sales, explaining my dislike of the car-buying process, explaining the problems I had with buying my previous Lincoln, I gave this dealership a shot. I told him that I was shocked that in my previous experience a dealer had dropped over $100 a month in payments during a bidding war and that I was already distrusting of car sales people. The gentleman at David McDavid assured me I was in good hands this time around, that no one can beat their prices because they do so much volume. The time came to get a new car and he gave me his price. My gut told me something was not right, so I checked with another dealer. David McDavid of Plano was over $4000 more over the life of the 3 year lease. I was floored. And you know what? The guy had the nerve to come back and offer me a better price than I got at the other dealership. Why didn't you just give it to me in the first place? Car buying should not be a game to see who you can milk for the most money, even if you are a luxury car dealership. I felt cheated and I will never trust these people again. He knew I was a smart consumer, that I did my homework and he still did this. I went with the other dealership who gave me a much better price without having to negotiate and I will never look back. Shame on you.
