Dealership Sales Review
I found a used car on the internet that I was interested in on September 13. I talked and emailed Dean about the car at least 15 times over about 7 days. I had him verify whether the vehicle had a sunroof, navigation, power and heated seats. He said he would have to go out and look at the vehicle. He called me back and said yes. After looking at it on the website more, I called and asked him again if it had navigation and he said yes. He also said it had power and heated seats along with a sunroof. Then right before we drove for 1-1/2 hours to get there last night, I called to verify he still had the car and he said yes. When we arrive, Dean says they sold the car 2 weeks ago, but had another one on the lot that didin't have the sunroof or navigation. But, the car on the lot WAS the one on their website because I had the print off and the stock numbers matched. He said they did have another vehicle with those features but it was $7000 more expensive. Deans boss came out and said Dean made a mistake. Really? A mistake happens once. Dean told me more than once that the vehicle had the options I was looking for. Those were lies. This was clearly a bait and switch. I thought those days were over. This is exactly why I HATE to buy cars from dealerships.
