Chevy Tahoe heated steering wheel part

onLetter from Chevy that National back order on part was no longer issue and parts were available. Letter gave direction to contact your local dealership for part availability and schedule time to get part installed. Waited 3 weeks for my appointment. Got to dealership 8am then waited until 10am that morning for service advisor to come back and tell me that they had the wrong part and the right part was still on National back order. They could not explain why the letters went out. Did not offer to reach out to Chevy and notify them that this issue was happening. Could not give me any idea if or when part would be available. Just wasted 2 hours of my Thursday morning. Very frustrating.
