Community Honda
Dealership Sales Review
Baytown Community did not have the Ridgeline I was looking for on their lot. Art M., the sales person that was assisting me and found one at College Station. We came to an agreement on the price (considerably lower than what I found on "True Car") and made arrangements to have the truck delivered to the Baytown lot. He requested a $500 check and explained that for any reason I should change my mind I will get it back. A few days later the truck arrived (white Ridgeline SE) and to my surprise after my wife looked at the interior she said she didn't care for it ( I think she was expecting more 'Bling'). To me the interior is a bit 'old school' but I'd put it on a scale of 1 to 10 at 8 (VERY GOOD). Community Honda incurred a delivery fee of $250 and with that I thought it might be a battle getting all of my $500 back. It was not! Mr. M. as he handed me my check simply said I stand behind what I tell the customer. How often do you think that happens at a car dealership?? My plan now is to wait till the end of next year and buy a 2016 Ridgeline (if my dear wife likes the interior). Can you guess the dealership and sales person I will go to...? Side Note: Of course I'll never know if all the sales folks would have acted with the same degree of integrity but I know this man did. Makes car shopping less frustrating.
