Baytown Hyundai
Dealership Sales Review
So, I get a letter from a lending company regarding my 2014 Ford Fushion about how I am paying to high of a interest rate for my current credit score. Into the conversation, I explain when I purchased my fushion, how many miles I have on it etc etc. The lending guy is so convincing that I can trade my car in for a new one with lower payments and directs me to his manager who then directs me to take my car and go over to Baytown Hyundia. Positive they can get me into a brand new care or SUV with the same or lower payments even though I still owe roughly 16,000 on my car. Hesitant, I go to the dealership. Met the finance guy there who I again explain how many miles are on my car, what I still owe on my car, how I am not willing to roll over the upside down of the 16,000 nor am I going to pay more monthly than I already pay and nor do I want in a small car. With all of being said, he states, oh don't worry, I can get into a very nice new vechicle and with all the rebates going on I can make that 16k disappear and your car in excellent condition, no problem. So he puts me with a sales guy, who by the way was very nice and professional. So by no means is this review a reflection on him. So after looking, picking out what I really like, the sales guy saying that it is workable and so on and so on, two and a half hours later, only to have the finance guy come back and tell me, well if you could put a down payment of this or that I can get you into the vechile you want. I reply no, I am not wanting to put anything down, then he comes back and offers for me a car, which is not what I wanted, so again I say no, and that I do not want to go more than 50.00 more a month of what I am pay now, and remind him of what he had stated to me earlier. Again he comes back, but this time not only can he not do what he had said originally, he insults my intelligence by asking me if I would consider keeping my car, putting a down payment and my payments would be 130.00 more than what I am paying now and that I could possibly sale my car out right or see if I could find a family member to take my car and finish paying on it. Are you freaking kiddingly me??? People amaze me. Not only did the lending company lead my astray, you led me astray and told me things that you couldn't deliver, and now I have wasted two and a half hours of my time that I really didn't have to spare, and ask him for the keys back to my car. Lesson learned, most dealerships are the same now days and people will tell you anything if they think they can get one over on you. Shame on me. Realize that offers like this are to good to be true. Shame on me. Signed Won't fall for that again.
