Dealership Service Review
When I got there I had higher expectations because I’ve gone to several ford dealerships prior to this service and service was always excellent but to be my first time at Maxwell I’m very disappointed. To start with … the person who helped me with the services was not knowledgeable. Jacob don’t know either how to read the profile or comments of the service. I specifically asked for full synthetic oil in the comments to when I received the receipt I noticed by the price that it was synthetic blend. When I brought this to his attention he said “there’s really not a difference… I asked before and you would think there’s a difference but the techs say there’s not”…. Like what the…? How come you are going to work at a ford service area and don’t know the difference between full synthetic and synthetic blend oil. And because you screwed up by not reading my requests now you acting like it isn’t a such a big deal and like if I was as bad informed as him… I know the difference and he asked the same question to the person next to him and this person pretty much educated him of the difference in the mileage and concentration of the oil. He tried to say you know what I’ll give you a discount for next time. As if there’s going to be next time lol. The other issue I had it’s that it seems like the techs don’t inspect your vehicle properly and they are trying to suck the money out of you— I had changed the cabin air filter and the engine air filter day prior… they still send me a recommendation from “issues found in my vehicle” saying that it’s recommended to have a engine air filter change asap: to what pretty much stated to me that my vehicle was not inspected or even checked. I was shocked when they wanted to charge me 40 bucks (what I paid for both filters that I had already changed). The other issue is that he was so worried because of his f*ck up that I would write a review he said “ if you take care of me I’ll take care of you next time” there’s no next time at Maxwell even if the discount is half off the next oil change. After the oil issue I felt so stupid for even asking him the question about the fuel injectors because I’m pretty sure he doesn’t even know what those are. He doesn’t even know what’s a injector flush (a service that the technician recommended) he said we go by a little trifolded ford recommendation book. Another thing that annoys me if that I scheduled an appointment at 1pm on Saturday because there’s a 15% off because of the time of the appointment. Comes to realize that this was not added to my receipt. Only the alignment and oil change. So that’s another issue. To be my first time taking my ford vehicle to this dealership I’m very very disappointed.
