$170 to fill DEF
Written by 06/23/2015
onI took my 2012 X5 in for services under the maintenance warranty. DEF was covered but because the oil had been changed they wanted $170 to change the DEF. I did it for 10$ myself. Then the liftgate was rattling. They said that they would keep it for the week and give me a loaner. A a few days later I get a call that the truck is ready and to return their car. X5 has the same rattle and was obviously not road tested after the repair. I look at the repair sheet and it says that they used felt tape to fix the tailgate. Really guys... tape? So I have tape holding together my BMW.
