Computer software turns car off while driving in traffic
Written by 11/16/2023
onThis is the second time this year that the X3 has stopped in traffic and given the message that the car cannot be restarted because of a software glitch! We had it towed in and it sat for 10 days in line for service and then they charged $468 even though it only had 34000 miles on it ($21 for the update and $450 for labor...) We brought it home and the service engine light was on so back to the shop for them to turn it off. It came right back on so back to the shop because an air vent was stuck open . BMW has a problem... We do not trust the car and do not wish to take it on the road!!!
