Will Sell You a car then shaft you!
Written by Req6strings on 04/19/2016

Bought a 2015 Toyota Tundra 25,000 miles: Upon going to look at vehicle I went and did a walk around on vehicle while on the phone with my husband..while inspecting the truck from the exterior it needed tires. So, I walked in dealership and spoke with Hans regarding the truck and my trade in which was a Mercedes. I made Hans aware of the issues on my car I was trading and let him know I had the parts to fix the valve cover gasket leak and would have it fixed. The tires on the car had just been replaced on back and fronts checked by Discount Tires not even two weeks previous to trade in and all were in great condition and back two tires were brand new. As we were discussing the deal between the trade and the purchase I told Hans the tires on the truck needed to be replaced. His response was, no just the two need to be replaced and the other two are in good condition. I was very concerned about tires as they are not cheap for the vehicle. Hans, once again insured me he would put the two on and the other two were good. So, fast forward I purchased vehicle from Hans and traded my Mercedes. I brought the parts I had purchased for the Mercedes for them, even though I didn't have to for free! Two days after my truck purchase Hans calls and says my two tires are in. I leave truck with them and they install the two tires. I received my truck back that afternoon and my TPM (tire pressure monitoring) light was on so I assumed it would reset after several miles as most do after tire work. Well one week later and TPM still lit. I proceed to Discount Tire to have them repair TPM and they proceed to tell me that the two new tires on the truck are fine. But the TPM light is being activated by the two bad tires, as there is a slow leak in one and they are worn completely down to wear bars and need to be replaced. They will not warranty the bad tires, but the two new tires they will for the tires lifetime and need me to buy two new tires for a cost of $700! When I purchased my $40,000 truck from Hans I was insured they were fine! I left Discount Tire and immediately went to speak with Hans to find out if we could work a reconciliation out since he basically lied to me and put me on the road with unsafe equipment. Hans just wanted to say, "We had to do work on your trade". Which by the way I disclosed everything on and gave them parts for free to fix! I stated to him I was completely up front about my trade and you lied about yours! So in my experience they will sell you a car like a silver tongued used car salesman and lie about its equipment then not back up their commitment to customer service when they are caught in their lies! So I'm out $700 dollars on a $40,000 car that I shouldn't be having to drop a dime into! Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to never send a friend your way. IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!
