Ruined my car

My car was in for a service, oil change and tire rotation. I picked up my vehicle and drove a few miles before it started knocking. My dip stick was dry. There was no oil in the vehicle. When I called the tech, it was insinuated that I was at fault or that it was a complete coincidence that my transmission went bad right after I picked up my vehicle. I had to use my AAA to tow it back to them. Lord only knows what I will be getting back.
